Beets: Snyder says beets are great for the promotion of cell production and repair, and they contain anti-aging properties.The powerful antioxidants in beets help fight signs of aging to keep skin firm and youthful,” she adds.


Figs: The seeds of a fig are packed full of nutrients that help cleanse the digestive tract. Snyder says that a slow digestive system can potentially keep important nutrients from getting to the skin. “This process is vital to enhancing that inner glow,” she adds.

Spinach: Spinach is extremely high in Vitamin A, which is a necessary nutrient for growth of the skin and hair. “Spinach is also loaded with Vitamin C, imperative for the building and maintenance of collagen,” Snyder says.

Pineapple: “When your skin needs to look amazing, this fruit is a wonder food,” says Snyder. Pineapple helps to reduce inflammation, improve digestion, and remove toxins from the body.

Dates: “They are rich in copper,” Snyder says, “which is an important mineral that helps the body absorb iron and form collagen and red blood cells.” On top of that, they’re high in fiber.
