Jennifer Lopez totally rocked two hot dresses and captured the attention of thousands at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Lopez’s styling team have been working with the celeb for many years now, and they get it right every single time.
In an interview with one of JLo’s stylists, he was asked what kind of impact he wanted the star to have on the red carpet. He responded:
“We always want Jennifer to make a statement with a look that personifies who she is: confident, bold and glamorous. Though we love pushing the envelope and experimenting with different colors, textures and shapes, everything circles back to Jennifer’s iconic style. Because she is such a Latin icon, we especially want her to feel like the best version of herself for any Latin-themed events.”
At the recent Billboard Latin Music Awards (BBLMA’s), JLo appeared in a beautiful metallic Julien MacDonald dress. The stylist teams describes the dress as “both totally unexpected and classic Jen.” Gorgeous dangling earrings and simple pair platform heels gave the look that extra pizzazz.
Her secondly dress was equally hot. Another Julien MacDonald creation, this one definitely required a lot of confidence to wear. With a plunging neckline and a slit up the thigh, JLo showed offher curves. JLo wore the gorgeous black gown while performing her Spanish single, Mirate. Her stylists completed the look with a pair of super-high heels and a black clutch.
One of her stylists says about the black dress, “The sexy cut, plunging neckline and open back is something that’s become a signature for Jennifer; sexy, feminine, fearless. However, the dress being black with its intricate outlines is a bit edgier and has more of a “gothic” feel than what you’d expect Jennifer Lopez to wear. It feels dark and mysterious, which is pretty opposite from Jen’s vibe. It has a major surprise factor yet is still completely her, which is essentially the goal.”
In addition to totally rocking the red carpet, JLo also managed to take home two awards: The Telemundo Star Award and the Social Artist of the Year award.
