Rebel Wilson is following through with her new year changes.
Yesterday, the Isn’t It Romantic star revealed updates on her ‘Year of Health’ with an Instagram post, sharing two photos of herself wearing a navy blue wrap dress as she appreciated her 8.4 million followers for their outpouring of love.
“Thanks for all the love so far on my ‘Year of Health’ journey – when I was reaching for the candies last night after dinner I thought to myself ‘hmmmm…better not’ and had a bottle of water instead,” she captioned the photos.
The Australian actress also disclosed that she’s only 8kg (about 18 pounds) away from her goal weight and hopes to achieve it before the year rounds up. She wrote, “8kg’s to go until I hit my goal – hopefully I can do it by the end of the year x.”
At the beginning of the year, Wilson made it known with a post on Instagram that she planned to make some positive changes and declared 2020 her ‘Year of Health’. Alongside dieting, she has been keeping fit with wholesome routines curated by her personal trainer, Jono Castano.
According to PEOPLE, the 40-year-old actress has been following the Mayr Method diet plan after visiting VivaMayr, a luxury medical detox and wellness center in Austria. Meals under the plan are foods with high alkaline content like vegetables, fresh fish, and sheep’s milk yogurt.
Being concerned with more than just looks, Wilson’s ‘Year Of Health’ is less about her outward appearance and more about how it makes her feel on the inside. “Her healthy journey is more about how it makes her feel than the physical benefits,” a source said. “She has more energy and more confidence, which you can see from her sexier Instagram shots. She’s also having fun with new fashion and beauty looks,” the source told PEOPLE.
