Eight years after surviving a shot to the head by the Pakistani Taliban, Malala Yousafzai graduates from the University of Oxford.
She tweeted on Friday that she has completed her Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at one of the topmost universities in the world.
Malala, now 22, became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 at the age of 17. She was awarded for the year alongside Kailash Satyarthi for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.
Yousafzai continues her advocacy for girls’ education through her Malala Fund.
