The coolest girl in school

Billie Eilish has never done preppy by the book, and her Los Angeles premiere look for Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft—The Tour Live in 3D made that perfectly clear. The concert film event doubled as a couples' red-carpet debut — her boyfriend, actor Nat Wolff, was by her side — and Eilish showed up dressed like the most stylish student at a school that definitely doesn't exist.

The full look was Prada: a vibrant green polo worn loose and unbuttoned over a crisp white button-down, its billowing sleeves ending in long starched cuffs that peeked out below the short-sleeve over-layer. Beneath that, a relaxed pleated skirt in black landed just below the knee — intentionally, it seems, because what came next deserved its own moment. The gap between hemline and sock was deliberate architecture. Those red-and-navy knee-highs were the whole point. According to Harper's Bazaar, the socks coordinated directly with the Prada palette and served as the visual anchor of the entire ensemble.

The Shoes, Though

Eilish pulled from Prada's Fall 2026 collection for her footwear, and the shoes — lace-up with an airbrushed toe and an intentionally off-kilter heel — are the kind of detail that separates a good outfit from a great one. Wonky by design, they leaned into the look's controlled-chaos energy without breaking it.

The rockstar interruptions were where Eilish made it personal. Chunky mismatched rings, a belt chain, a diamond bracelet stacked over her dress shirt sleeve — jewelry that felt more backstage than boardroom. Dark under-liner did the rest. The whole thing walked the line between Catholic school and concert venue with the kind of confidence that makes that tension look easy.

The premiere brought out her full family — mother Maggie Baird, father Patrick O'Connell, brother Finneas, and his fiancée Claudia Sulewski — alongside Wolff, whose brother Alex opened the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour alongside him. Wolff and Eilish have been friends since 2023 and were first linked romantically last summer, making this premiere the natural setting for their first official joint appearance.

The lesson here: schoolgirl dressing hits harder when you treat the socks like punctuation.
