On the Podcast: Michelle Pfeiffer Is Booked and Busy
On this Tuesday’s episode of “The Run-Through,” Pfeiffer joins Margaux Anbouba, Vogue’s senior beauty and wellness editor, to talk about her roles on “The Madison” and “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.”

Reported by Vogue.
Michelle Pfeiffer is currently promoting not one but two wildly different projects — The Madison on Paramount+ and Margo's Got Money Troubles on Apple TV+ — and somehow still finding time to host pizza nights with the Fanning sisters. Priorities, honestly.
Sitting down with Vogue's senior beauty and wellness editor Margaux Anbouba on The Run-Through, Pfeiffer and guest Elle Fanning broke down the double-project sprint. "These are about as different as you could get," Pfeiffer said of the two roles, describing The Madison as emotionally draining and her character Cheyenne in Margo as the opposite — pure fun, full of energy, the kind of role that reminds you why you do this in the first place. Between the polar-opposite characters and the pineapple-on-white-pizza confessions (she's pro, for the record), Pfeiffer is clearly a woman who does exactly what she wants.
Scent, Memory, and a Side Business She's Very Serious About
Beyond the screen work, Pfeiffer has been quietly developing new formulas for Henry Rose, the clean fragrance company she founded in 2019. Her thinking on why fragrance holds such cultural and emotional weight is sharp: "Memory and scent are right next to each other in the brain," she said — which is exactly why a well-chosen perfume can hit harder than a photograph. Henry Rose was built on radical transparency around ingredients, and based on how she talks about it, the next chapter is equally considered.
The episode also features editors Taylor Antrim and Marley Marius breaking down two marquee cruise shows — Dior in Los Angeles and Gucci in New York — before pivoting to the summer cultural calendar. On the film side, they flagged James Gray's Paper Tiger and Jordan Firstman's Club Kid out of Cannes as their most anticipated watches. Hyper-pop act Glaive also gets a moment, and the upcoming World Cup earns genuine enthusiasm: both Antrim and co-host Chloe are attending the France versus Senegal match in person.
Whether she's shapeshifting between prestige TV roles, building a beauty brand on her own terms, or debating pizza toppings with Hollywood royalty, Pfeiffer at this stage of her career is the blueprint for doing it all without performing urgency about any of it.
