Rosalía and Loli Bahia Make the Coolest Case for Contrasting Couple Style

Rosalía is back on her Lux tour after postponing North American dates due to a family emergency, and she's making up for lost time. Two sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden. A stage dedication of "La Yugular" to rumored girlfriend Loli Bahia. And, en route to her final NYC show, a street-style moment with the French model that quietly made the strongest argument for contrasting couple dressing we've seen in a while.

The Spanish singer stepped out in a clingy white long-sleeve mini-dress with a thick tulle hem — softness instantly undercut by black lace-up pointy pumps and a tousled, curly blowout. Loli, meanwhile, dressed like she had absolutely nowhere to be: gray crewneck, black tee, low-rise straight-leg jeans, black loafers, angular shades. The two walked hand-in-hand to their car like they hadn't just created a masterclass in dressing for yourself while still looking like a unit. According to Vogue, Loli has kept close throughout the tour without absorbing a single sequin of Rosalía's maximalist energy — no small feat when your partner's wardrobe includes a latex bodysuit, a tutu, and custom Jonathan Anderson for Dior pieces referencing spirituality and faith.

Two Aesthetics, One Very Good Couple

Rosalía's Lux tour wardrobe is its own thesis statement: an angel wing-like cape, a tricorne-style hat, a shimmering ice-blue ribbon dress — all custom Dior, all rooted in the spiritual themes running through her fourth studio album. Off-stage, she's still reaching for risk. Indie designers like Yasmina and Julie Kegels, stompy boots with fairy dresses. Loli's register is entirely different — strong tailoring when she's dressed up (see: her sleek Saint Laurent suit separates by Anthony Vaccarello at the 2026 Met Gala), and model off-duty ease when she's not.

The best-dressed couples have always understood this. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky can do matching leathers or coordinated Dior without either one disappearing into the other. Hailey and Justin Bieber have their formula. Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake have theirs. The throughline isn't coordination — it's confidence. Knowing your own aesthetic so well that it holds its shape even when you're standing next to someone whose entire thing is making heads turn from 50 feet away.

The chicest thing you can do for your relationship — and your wardrobe — is refuse to give up your personal style for anyone, no matter how obsessed you are with them.
