Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara are expecting their first child together!
The soon-to-be parents made the announcement during an appearance on the Today Show on Wednesday.
“I’m very good as you can tell — it’s all Christmas here,” the pop star said. But there’s other news that I’m dying to tell you and my heart’s pounding out of my chest.”
Excitedly, she hands over to her husband to do the honours saying, “Hit it, Daryl.” The Spy Kids alum says, “We’re pregnant!”
“We were thinking about who do I tell first, and I was like, I told Hoda since I was 19 going to the TODAY show (that) I will have the most babies in the world,” Meghan said. “It finally happened and we’re so excited.”
Meghan later shared the news on Instagram with a Christmas-themed sonogram photo captioned, “You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!! @darylsabara and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this little cutie early next year! WE’RE PREGNANTTTTT!!!”
Daryl posted the same picture writing, “I love you @meghan_trainor and I can’t wait to start a family with you.”
Earlier in the year, the Nice To Meet Ya crooner revealed to PEOPLE just how much she was spoiled by her husband. “He’ll get dinner for me and set it all up for me, and he knows what I want to drink, makes my ginger ale with my ice,” she said.
“He takes care of me to the fullest level that I don’t even lift a finger. … I never thought I’d be so spoiled in love. He completes everything.”
The singer and and actor tied the knot in an intimate backyard wedding in December 2018 following a set-up by a mutual friend, actress, Chloë Grace Moretz.
