News broke on Sunday that Tory Lanez was arrested on gun charges and Megan Thee Stallion was with him. Shortly before the news of the arrest, the duo and Kylie Jenner were spotted hanging out on Instagram Live.
Megan Thee Stallion revealed on her Instagram account today that the stories circulating were false and set the record straight.
She wrote as the caption, “I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.”
TMZ quotes an LAPD spokesperson who said, “At the time Megan Thee [Stallion] was with police she did not report that she was the victim of any crime. And the LAPD has not received any additional information at this time.”
