Say It Ain’t So! Doja Cat Had Coronavirus

In an interview on Friday with Capital XTRA, Doja Cat revealed she tested positive for the Coronavirus.

She joins the list of celebrities to have contacted the deadly virus affecting people all over the world.

“I got COVID. Honestly, I don’t know how this happens, but I guess I ordered something off of Postmates and I don’t know how I got it, but I got it,” she said.

Fortunately, she didn’t experience adverse effects of the virus recuperating within just 4 days. She added, “I’m okay now. It was a four-day symptom freakout, but I’m fine now.”

Earlier in March in the heat of quarantine and at the onset of the virus, the Say So rapper publicly questioned the seriousness of the virus via her Instagram story.

I’m gonna get corona and then I’m gonna get a Corona, cause I don’t give a f— about corona, bitch,” Doja told her followers. “It’s a flu! Ya’ll are p—ies. You just take some Mucinex and drink water and tea and sleep — that’s all you gotta do.”

Doja has appeared in headlines on multiple occasions this year being involved in controversies. She was exposed for taking part in white supremacist chat rooms on Tinychat, called out for making homophobic tweets in 2018, and criticized for using racial slurs in the past.

In mid-May, however, she reached a new level of success with a remix of her song “Say So” featuring Nicki Minaj peaking the charts.
